The Grace Gospel Church is a Gospel preaching, Bible-believing, Grace growing church where like-minded believers can be assembled together and hear the Word of God. The Grace Gospel Church meets every Sunday for service at 9:30 AM in Taconite, MN.
The Grace Gospel Church wants every person to hear about the love of Christ. When Jesus the Christ died on the Cross for your sins: He is saying, “I LOVE YOU!” When Jesus the Christ was buried for your sins: He is saying, “I LOVE YOU!” When Jesus Christ resurrected from the grave to show you that ALL your sins are paid in full: He is saying, “I LOVE YOU!” Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, demonstrated His Love for all of us at the Cross of Calvary. Eternal Life is a free gift, freely received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8 KJV).
The Grace Gospel Church shares the The Gospel (Good News) of salvation which is trusting in the death payment for sin, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (I Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV).
The Grace Gospel Church wants all to know that Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, is the propitiation (satisfied sacrifice) for all sin. “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (I John 2:2 KJV). We desire that every person hears the Gospel of Christ and trusts in Jesus Christ as their only hope of going to Heaven and not to Hell.
The Grace Gospel Church shares that every believer in Christ alone can KNOW with certainty that they are going to Heaven when they die. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God” (I John 5:13 KJV). God wants His children to know they are going to Heaven the very second they believe in Christ alone (apart from works), and He wants His children to know that they will never go to Hell. Jesus Christ will never leave, lose, or cast them out. “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.” (John 6:37, 39 KJV)
There is only one way to Heaven; it is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, documented in the scriptures alone, so God receives the glory alone. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV).
The work for salvation is complete, “IT IS FINISHED!” “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost” (John 19:30 KJV).
The only way to Heaven is to believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior. A person trusts in Jesus Christ’s Finished Redemptive Work for their only hope to get them to Heaven. The very second a person believes in Christ alone for salvation, they immediately receive eternal life. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36 KJV). The very second people believe in Christ alone, they step from death to life. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24 KJV).
Christ’s death on the Cross does not do anything for you unless it gives you everlasting life. If you have Christ as your Savior, you have EVERLASTING LIFE! “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:28-30 KJV).
Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, saves us from a literal fire burning Hell to a Heaven we do not deserve. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (II Thessalonians 1:8-9 KJV).
The Grace Gospel Church challenges every child of God to become a “soul-winner” for Christ after they (believers in Christ alone) are saved. Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost. We believe it is God’s desire for His children to seek and save the lost. In every sermon, the pastor challenges all believers in Christ alone for salvation, to apply the Word to their lives. The messages are designed for soul-winning and application (for salvation and service).
Salvation and service are separate events. Justification happens one time in a believer's life. However, sanctification (progressive, practical, or growing in grace) happens daily through applying the Word of God to their life. The goal is to learn how to apply the Word of God to our lives. The question is, how do we apply the Word of God to our lives. The Grace Gospel Church uses simple questions designed to apply the Word of God to our lives. One simple question we use is, “Is there an example to follow?” When reading about Christ, He always gives us an example to follow.
