Leadership at The Grace Gospel Church
The elders of The Grace Gospel Church are Lance Edminster (pastor), Kevin Stockey, and Herman Giehler. The elders are responsible for following and adhering to the Statement of Faith and Articles of Incorporation. The elders are responsible in guiding the churches mission and vision. Mission: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 KJV). Vision: “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (I Timothy 2:4 KJV). The elders live by the motto: saved by grace; live by grace. The Grace Gospel Church is a grace operation, it is grace in action!

My wife's name is Karla. We have been married for 29 years. We have two adult children Zak (Callie) and Miracle. We have one granddaughter and her name is Paxton.

I am an elder at Grace Gospel Church. In 1980 I became friends with a pastor who shared the clear Gospel with me. He showed me scriptures in the Bible that not only changed my destiny but the destiny of my entire family. My wife and I have been married for 56 wonderful years, 53 of which have been here in Grand Rapids. We have raised 3 daughters, all of whom are saved. We have 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, all raised in the foundation of Christ. I am honored and humbled to be part of Grace Gospel Church.
