Answers: taken from the Bible.

The answer is “NO” to 1: It is impossible to get to heaven this way. The bible says, “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law” (Romans 3:28). (see Romans 3:19-28)

The answer is “NO” to 2, 3, and 4: These things could never save you. The bible says, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).

The answer is “NO” to 5, 6, and 7: Good works cannot save anyone. The bible says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The answer is “NO” to 8, 9, 10, and 11: We cannot be saved by works, regardless of how good or well-intended. God saves us by His grace (mercy). The bible says, “And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work” (Romans 11:6).

The answer is “NO” to 12 and 13: Water baptism and communion are for those who are already saved: It is not our work that saves us, but faith in Christ. The bible says, “But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness” (Romans 4:5).

The answer is “NO” to 14: This cannot save you. The bible says, “That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed” (Romans 9:8).

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13).

“Not of blood” means “not of one’s parentage.” You must be born of God to be saved.

The answer is “NO” to 15, 16, and 17: These are man-made doctrines and are not taught in the bible, God says, “And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:9).

No! None of these things can save you. You can do nothing to earn eternal life. It is faith in Christ alone that can save you.

The bible says, “And by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses” (Acts 13:39).

The way to have eternal life is not found in what we do ourselves, but by having a perfect righteousness given to us. We receive this when we believe the Lord Jesus Chris took our sins on Himself and paid for them by His death on the cross. The bible says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (II Corinthians 5:21).

You do not receive eternal life by working for it or by trying to make yourself behave. You receive eternal life by believing the record God gave of His Son. Remember, if you disagree with these statements you are calling God a liar. The bible says, “He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son” (I John 5:10-11).

God, in His Sovereignty, permits man’s destiny to depend on man’s choice. The bible says, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

After you are saved, obedience to God brings love, joy, peace, and happiness in your life. The bible says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).

When we disobey God, He will punish us, but our punishment will never be hell. God deals with us as a father deals with his son. The bible says, “If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire” (I Corinthians 3:15).

God will never cast us out or lose us. The bible says, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day” (John 6:37-39).

Doesn’t it make sense to believe in the One who came back from the dead and trust in Him for the payment of your sin? Why not do it now and you can be sure of going to heaven when you die. He loves you. Right now, why not accept the payment He has made for your sins and you can KNOW you have eternal life. The bible says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (I John 5:13).

Christ Died…That’s History

Christ Died for Me…That’s Salvation!

The bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever (YOUR NAME) believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Friend, if you can sincerely put your name in the blank space above, on the authority of God’s Word, you can KNOW you have eternal life.

The bible says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life” (John 6:47).

If you have never received Jesus Christ as Savior, what is stopping you right now from accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior? In your mind, you can say something, "I don't know everything; however, I know I am a sinner. I know I do not want to go to Hell when I die. I want to go to Heaven when I die. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for ALL my sins (past, present, and future), buried for me, and resurrected for me."

Once Saved, Always Saved -“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:28-30 KJV).
